You've got a chance to win a RCA 21-CT-55, introduced in December 1954 this was the company's second consumer color television, featuring a 21-inch screen (21AXP22 tube) and a $895 price tag. As a luxury console, only about 3,000 units were produced, making it rarer than the 15-inch CT-100 predecessor. The CTC-2B chassis set offered superior color resolution compared to later sets. This set has a good 21AXP22 and is complete.
Prize must be picked up from the Early Television Museum within 90 days of award. The museum will not arrange shipping, but will cooperate with a shipper you select.
Over 150 TV sets are on display at the museum in a 6000 square foot area. Displays include mechanical TVs from the 1920s and 30s; pre-1945 British sets from 1936-39; pre-1945 American sets from 1939-41; postwar sets from 1945-58; and early color sets from 1953-57. Many of these sets are working.
