One winner and their guest will join Dr. Patrick MacManaway for a 14-night guided journey through Scotland's ancient landscapes and sacred sites, exploring the finest of Scotland's whisky traditions along the way.* This is an intimate, immersive adventure shaped around Scotland’s natural beauty, cultural depth, and enduring sense of place.
Your adventure begins and ends in Edinburgh — journeying through Aberdeenshire, Speyside, the Highlands, Inverness, the Outer Hebrides, and the Isle of Skye — and follows a carefully curated itinerary built around Scotland's stone circles and neolithic monuments, interwoven with curated whisky experiences at iconic venues. You will share in your adventures with a small group of fellow travelers, under the expert care of a professional tour company, and accompanied by Tim and Kerry Francis of Dharma's Garden as your dedicated Hosts along the way.
All whisky-related prize components are available to participants aged 21 and older only, and are provided exclusively through properly licensed third-party venues. For winners or guests under 21, or for any winner who prefers a non-alcohol experience, Wonderhaven will provide a fully customized parallel-path experience of equal value for both participants — tailored in personal consultation with the winner following the close of the sweepstakes.
Dharma's Garden has operated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit project in Boulder, Colorado since 2015, under the parent organization Wonderhaven. Our mission at Dharma's Garden is to "demonstrate, educate, and inspire others to take on the noble work of tending the earth."
Dharma's Garden has become a thriving place of belonging within our community. Here, people connect with each other through meaningful work, seasonal festivals, and social activities — and with the natural world through educational programs, hands-on activities, and immersive experiences.
For years, the vegetables that we produce in our market garden have been distributed to hundreds of families in our community through a donation-based market that works on a simple principle: give what you can, take what you need. This is just one example of our underlying commitment that Dharma's Garden be inclusive and accessible to anyone in our community, regardless of socio-economic status or financial means.
The land Dharma's Garden sits on is now owned by our parent nonprofit, Wonderhaven — made possible in 2021 by a remarkable grassroots campaign in which more than 640 families came together to contribute over $4.5 million in donations and loans to save the property from development. That act of collective care is, in many ways, the most powerful expression of what this place means to the people it serves.
Through our productive market garden, seasonal festivals, and hands-on educational programs for adults and children, Dharma's Garden brings a direct connection to regenerative agriculture and biodynamic farming right into the heart of the city. Our hope is to model the kind of sacred, living relationship with the natural world that is all but lost in the modern world. This is ultimately a project not just to conserve land, but to remember what it means to be good stewards of the earth.
