A breathtaking example of British craftsmanship, this classic MG delivers an immersive, open-air driving experience!

Unlimited fun awaits! Don’t miss your chance to experience the open road with the wind in your hair, touring the countryside behind the wheel of this collectible car.

Painted red and finished with red leather upholstery, the car cuts a striking silhouette; under the hood is a 1.3L engine, XPAG inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. 1953 MG TD engine #26985, as shown on the chassis data plate and engine block. This vintage MG shows age-appropriate signs of wear but is still a beauty!

Sporting unique rear-hinged doors the MG TD allows you to swing your legs into the cockpit, offering a vintage driving experience – from its pared-down dash to its deliberate shifting. Once you start the engine, the entire vehicle seems to purr with rhythmic vibrations.

The MG T-Type is a series of body-on-frame open two-seater sports cars. The TD combined the earlier TC's drivetrain, a modified geared rear axle, the MG Y-type chassis, a familiar T-type style body and independent suspension on the front axle using coil springs. A 1950 road-test report described the TD as the "most striking" of all the “T” series models and the resulting "transformation in the comfort of riding" was noted. This new model was largely designed to consolidate and expand the car's sale in North America.

The MG TD Midget was the fourth in a series of five evolutionary designs produced by Morris Garages (MG) and later British Motors Corporation (BMC). First introduced in 1936 as the MG TA Midget, the design advanced through the TB (1939), the TC of 1945, the TD introduced in 1950, and finally the TF of 1953. Production of the classic T-Type ended in 1955 when the upright roadster type was replaced by the curvaceously styled MGA.
